Mane offered to Barcelona?

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool star Sadio Mane has been offered to Barcelona as a replacement for Lionel Messi.

The Argentine is believed to be on his way out of the Nou Camp, and while few can actually believe he’ll be leaving, the story has definitely been picking up some steam as of late.

Mane, on the other hand, actually played under Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman during his time with Southampton. He also hasn’t signed a new contract with the club despite rumours suggesting that he was close to a new deal last year.

He’s still contracted to be at Anfield until 2023 which is more than enough time for the two parties to come to some kind of arrangement, but with the Messi situation being at large, Barca could make a move sooner rather than later.

Whether or not Mane even wants to leave the Premier League is another matter.
