AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas is on the radar of several top Premier League clubs, according to the player’s official representative.
The Greek centre-back has been one of club’s most consistent performers since joining from Olympiakos, catching the eye of quite a few top sides in the process.
AS Roma are desperate to keep hold of their prized asset in spite of the heavy interest in his services, and it has now been revealed that English Premier League could be the player’s next destination.
The agent of Kostas Manolas has moved to suggest that Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea are just some of his client’s suitors.
“The best clubs in Europe want him,” agent Ioannis Evangelopoulos confessed. “There isn’t just Manchester City, but also United and Chelsea. I haven’t spoken with Roma for a while.”
Kostas Manolas made a total of 67 Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi, scoring 2 goals in the process, while featuring in another 14 Champions League fixtures.
The reason why AS Roma have no plans to cash in on their prized asset just yet is that in case they sell him this summer, Olympiakos get half of the transfer fee.
