Marca has learned that Real Madrid have been offered a chance to sign AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
The Greece international is widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading centre-backs and he has been linked with quite a few top clubs.
Spanish daily newspaper Marca claims that Manolas has now been offered to Real Madrid by intermediaries, who feel that los Blancos may be keen on his services.
AS Roma need to raise considerable funds to avoid FIFA Financial Fair Play sanctions and if they manage to sell the Greek defender, they will probably be able to keep hold of players like Alisson and Nainggolan.
Kostas Manolas has seen his stock rise a great deal since joining AS Roma from Olympiakos four years ago, going on to make 128 Serie A appearances.
