Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini has become one of the hottest commodities in Italian Serie A, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Italy international has been forced to play second fiddle to Gonzalo Higuain for two years now, but having scored 13 goals in less than 1,400 minutes of league football in last two years, he has been Italy’s most productive striker based on minute per goal ratio.
It is, therefore, not surprising that the interest in his services is high, with Gabbidini having apparently decided to quit Stadio San Paolo in search of regular playing time.
And while Napoli officials would prefer to see him stay, they are prepared to consider offers in the region of €30 million,
This will be good news for Wolfsburg, who had a €25m + €5m bid rejected in January, and they are ready to return with a new proposal.
And with West Ham, Stoke City, Fiorentina and Hamburg keen as well, chances are Gabbiadini will be leaving in the summer transfer window.
