Atletico Madrid are keeping close tabs on Sampdoria striker Manolo Gabbiadini, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Los Colchoneros signed a number of quality attackers in the summer after seeing the likes of Costa, Villa and Adrian leave, but it appears Diego Simeone is in the market for a new forward.
Namely, El Mundo Deportivo has suggested that los Colchoneros are hot on the trail of Sampdoria hotshot Manolo Gabbiadini.
The 22-year-old, who is co-owned with Juventus, showed a great deal of promise last term before continuing the rich vein of form this season.
Gabbiadini scored 4 goals in 5 league appearances in the new campaign to prove why he is regarded one of Italy’s hottest prospects.
The product of Atalanta’s famous youth school seems to have caught the eye of Europe’s top sides and while he is unlikely to be moving clubs in January, a summer exit could be on the cards.
