La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini could be offload in the January transfer window.
The Italy international was in line for a new and improved deal at Stadio San Paolo in spite of some under-par performances this season, but a lot has changed over the last couple of days.
Namely, Gabbiadini stupidly received a red card in the 2-1 triumph over Crotone and the timing could not have been worse considering that the only other striker in the squad Arkadiusz Milik will miss next few months through injury.
And rather than enjoying a run in the side, Gabbiadini will now miss at least three league fixtures, and his long-term future at the club is in doubt as well.
The club chiefs have been disappointed with the striker’s poor form and latest behaviour, and they are ready to entertain offers for his services.
Napoli had rejected several good proposals for Gabbiadini in the summer, but a January exit appears on the cards.
