Having played for Atalanta and AC Milan at youth levels, Locatelli spent two years as a member of the senior Milan squad, before moving to Sassuolo on an initial loan in 2018. The loan was made permanent the following year, and Juventus made a similar swoop for his services in 2021, though the agreed temporary switch lasted two years and the 25-year-old only became a full-time Juventus player this summer.
Locatelli obviously took his chance at Juventus and has established himself as a key component of Massimiliano Allegri’s side, making a total of 103 appearances for the club in the middle of the park.
