Evan Ndicka is set to run out of contract at Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season, and according to Fabrizio Romano, clubs across Europe are considering a swoop for the services of the defender on a free transfer. As things stand, his departure from the Bundesliga seems very likely with no new contract on the horizon.
Romano was asked about the rumours crediting Arsenal with interest in the 23-year-old centre-back, and the Italian journalist told Caught Offside that he was aware of such claims, but he also warns that there are many clubs, not only in England, contemplating a move for Ndicka.
Ndicka is a product of the academy at Auxerre, where he made his way into the senior ranks in 2017. Eintracht signed him a year later for a reported fee of €5.5 million, and since then, he’s gone on to make a total of 156 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.
