Marc Bartra set for Dortmund exit

Spanish defender Marc Bartra will be allowed to leave Borussia Dortmund this winter, according to Sport Bild.

The 27-year-old lost his place in the side with the arrival of Peter Stoger and with the club having also signed Manuel Akanji, a January exit seems on the cards.

Bartra is eager to secure regular playing time in order to make Spain’s World Cup squad and it is clear he will have to do so away from Signal-Iduna Park.

According to reports, Borussia Dortmund are ready to listen to offers for both Marc Bartra and Neven Subotic.

Bartra joined the Millionaires in an €8 million deal from Barcelona 18 months ago and he went on to make 31 Bundesliga appearances.

Borussia Dortmund will be vying Atalanta for a place in the Europa League Last 16 and they can be backed at 5/9 to win the first leg.
