Marc Guehi open to Chelsea transfer?

Chelsea are interested in signing Marc Guehi from London and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Chelsea are looking for a new central defender, and that Guehi is on the radar of the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners.

Thiago Silva will leave Chelsea at the end of the season when his current contract runs out. The Blues want to find a suitable replacement, and one of the players the London club have been impressed with is Guehi. The 23-year-old is one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League and has been superb for Crystal Palace since he joined them from Chelsea in 2021.

TEAMtalk has claimed that Guehi himself would be open to returning to Chelsea. The England international centre-back came through the Blues’ academy system and failed to make an impact in the first team. He has given one assist in 22 Premier League matches for Palace so far this season.
