Real Madrid’s Marcelo has reportedly agreed to join Juventus this summer.
The report is the work of Italian outlet La Stampa, who also say that the period to be set into the agreed deal is four years.
Marcelo has spent 12 and a half years at the Santiago Bernabeu. He has played a total of 476 games and scored 36 times in all competitions for Los Blancos, helping them to four Champions League trophies, four La Liga titles and two Copa del Rey trophies. Santiago Solari is the seventh Real coach he’s played under, but the first he has lost his place under since making the left-back position his own a very long time ago. Solari has recently favoured the homegrown talent of Sergio Reguilon, who, in all fairness, has been one of the few Real players to play well recently.
If the 30-year-old Brazilian joins Juventus, he will be teaming up with his old friend Cristiano Ronaldo, who made that move last summer.
