Marcelo rules out Real Madrid exit

Real Madrid left-back Marcelo has rejected a possibility of leaving Santiago Bernabeu in a forseeable future.

Loc Blancos vice-captain has been linked with a move to Juventus on the back of increasing rumours that he was growing unhappy without his best mate Cristiano Ronaldo who was transferred to Turin this summer.

In an interview with Real Madrid TV, the Brazilian superstar has brushed off such a notion. Marcelo claims to be extremely happy at Real Madrid where he plans to ‘be here until the end’.

“I want to be at Madrid for many years. I’m very calm about it all and I want to continue at Real Madrid. Lots of people hide behind social media to spread ridiculous rumours and cause problems where they don’t exist. I’m as hungry as when I was 18 years’ old. I’ll be here until the end”, Marcelo was quoted.

The 30-year-old Brazilian defender joined Real Madrid eleven years ago from Fluminense. He has thus far made more than 320 La Liga appearances and took part in all four Real Madrid’s matches in the new season.
