March 9th: Saturday’s Premier League Accumulator – 5/1

As the Premier League title chase starts to reach a boiling point, we have a heavyweight Saturday schedule from across England’s elite.

With Arsenal looking to at least briefly climb back to the top of the table, Manchester United will also steal centre stage on Saturday lunchtime.

For those of you who are looking to stick on a weekend acca, we have found a trio of Premier League betting tips that are worth taking note of.

Saturday, March 9th

BST 12:30 Manchester United vs Everton

Suffering a late collapse away at the bitter local rivals Manchester City last weekend, it is no secret that Erik ten Hag finds continued speculation over his long-term future at Old Trafford. Eventually falling to a 3-1 loss at the Etihad, United have suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats and they are seeking a minor miracle in their bid to punch a crucial top-four finish this season. Nevertheless, winning six of their previous eight appearances against Premier League opposition, the Red Devils will certainly be smelling a golden opportunity here. Storming their way to a thrilling 3-0 romp when they travelled to Goodison Park for their reverse Premier League meeting back on November 26th, Saturday’s hosts do hold a rampant record against the Toffees. Extending on their FA Cup adventure on January 6th as they secured a 3-1 win at Old Trafford, United have won all of their previous four meetings by an aggregate score of 10-2. Although ten Hag’s men might have shown some extended inconsistencies on home soil this season, they will be confident of cashing in on an Everton squad who are at the heart of a public crisis. Suffering their own collapse last weekend as they suffered a 3-1 loss at home against West Ham, Sean Dyche’s men also have the potential of more sanctions hanging over their head. In fact, the former Burnley boss has seen his squad fail to win any of their previous 10 straight Premier League appearances – a run that stems all the way back to December 16th.

Tip: Manchester United win @ 4/5

15:00 Crystal Palace vs Luton

Suffering late heartbreak away at Tottenham last weekend as they eventually slumped to a 3-1 loss in north London, Crystal Palace will be seeking an immediate response here. Opening Oliver Glasner’s tenure in charge at Selhurst Park with a routine 3-0 romp against Burnley on February 24th, the former Eintracht Frankfurt boss is desperate to find some welcomed stability. However, appearing to drag themselves away from a looming relegation scrap, the Eagles have gained a reputation for their largely rugged success on home soil. Including an action-packed 3-2 victory against Sheffield United on January 30th, Palace have suffered just a single defeat from any of their last seven showdowns at Selhurst Park. However, Glasner’s new squad have recorded just a sole clean sheet from their previous eight appearances. While Luton might have gained plenty of plaudits since making their famous Premier League return this season, the Hatters are enduring a real struggle. Falling to a 3-2 loss at home against Aston Villa last weekend, Rob Edwards’ men have lost all of their previous five meetings against top-flight opposition. Likewise, crashing out of the FA Cup following a 6-2 drumming at the hands of Manchester City, Saturday’s guests have shipped 22 goals in just their last six outings. It should also be highlighted, all of Luton’s last seven straight away fixtures across all competitions have finished with both teams finding the net.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 4/5

17:30 Arsenal vs Brentford

While Arsenal might have eventually fallen short in their bid to claim a first Premier League crown since 2004 last season, the Gunners have their sights firmly set on making real history come May. Last seen earlier in the week putting in another remarkable display as they stormed their way to a 6-0 romp away at Sheffield United, Mikel Aretat’s young squad find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high. Although Saturday’s hosts might have opened their Champions League knockout stage adventure with a last-gasp 1-0 loss against Porto on February 21st, Arsenal are enjoying a stunning domestic flurry. Including another spectacular 6-0 victory against West Ham last month, the Gunners have won all of their previous seven top-flight appearances on the bounce. Opening this weekend’s fixtures sat just two points adrift of climbing back to the top of the Premier League table, Arteta’s men have gained a fearsome reputation for their free-scoring performances in the final third. In fact, Arsenal have notched a stunning 31 Premier League goals on their seven-match romp. While Brentford might have eventually snatched a 2-2 stalemate against west London rivals Chelsea last weekend, the Bees are in the midst of a real Premier League rut this season. With some in Thomas Frank’s camp still looking over their shoulder at a looming relegation scrap, Saturday’s guests have won just a pair of their previous 15 straight meetings against top-flight opposition. Likewise, Brentford have also lost eight of their last nine contests away from the Gtech Community Stadium.

Tip: Arsenal to score in both halves @ 19/20
