Veteran Italian forward Marco Borriello is not ready to call it quits on his career just yet and will spend the 2018/19 season playing for a Segunda Division B side UD Ibiza.
The club based on the popular holiday resort on the Balearic Islands have reached the third tier of Spanish football for the first time in their three-year history and will have a high profile footballer leading their attack this season.
The 36-year-old forward has spent the majority of his career playing in Italy whereas he also had a loan spell with West Ham in the Premier League.
Borriello played for SPAL last season where he managed only one goal in 15 league matches.
Well past beyond his prime, Marco Borriello is still attracting plenty of interest from the media and is expected to be a huge star at UD Ibiza.
