Former Fiorentina midfielder Marco Donadel will be training with Montreal Impact, the Canadian side announced on their official website.
The 31-year-old will be visiting Montreal Impact striker Marco Di Vaio this week and he has asked the club to train with them while he is in Canada.
The MLS side have since moved to confirm that the Italian midfielder will be taking part in Wednesday’s training session.
And with the player currently out of contract, there is a chance Montreal Impact will offer him a contract ahead of the new season.
Marco Donadel has spent his entire career in Italy, playing for Milan, Lecce, Parma, Sampdoria, Fiorentina, Napoli and Hellas Verona, while representing the Azzurri at various youth levels.
His good friend Marco Di Vaio has announced that he will retire from football at the end of the current season, meaning that the clash against DC United on 25 October will be his last ever game in professional football.
