Parma have signed winger Marco Marchionni on a free transfer, the Serie A club announced on their official website.
The 32-year-old had been a free agent since leaving Fiorentina earlier in the summer before accepting an offer from Parma and signing a one-year deal with the club.
The player was given a number 32 shirt and immediately placed himself at the disposal of coach Roberto Donadoni.
The experienced winger has already spent five years at Parma between 2001 and 2006, amassing 112 Serie A appearances for il Ducali and scoring 13 goals.
Marchionni left Parma to join Juventus in the summer of 2006, and spent three seasons in Turin before signing for Fiorentina.
The player enjoyed a bright start to his career at Artemio Franchi but eventually lost the place in the side and was allowed to leave after his contract expired in June.
