German media outlet Sport Bild has suggested that Borussia Dortmund hotshot Marco Reus could be leaving the club next summer.
According to a clause in his current contract that will come into effect next summer, the Germany international will be allowed to leave for mere €25 million.
And while Borussia Dortmund are ready to offer the attacker a significant pay rise in exchange for removing the clause, Reus does not seem prepared to accept the offer.
This is enough to suggest that the 25-year-old hopes to leave the Millionaires for greener pastures, with a summer exit becoming likely.
Manchester United, Barcelona and Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation, ready to make a move on their long-term target.
Marco Reus has largely impressed at Signal-Iduna Park since arriving from Borussia M’gladbach, having bagged 31 goals in 64 Bundesliga outings.
He was unfortunate to miss the 2014 World Cup through an ankleproblem and has recently suffered another similar injury.
