Tottenham are lining up a summer move for Chievo goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, Daily Express has revealed.
With Brad Friedel nearing the end of his career and Heurelho Gomes and Carlo Cudicini no longer in first team plans of Andre Villas-Boas, Spurs are hoping to sign a long-term understudy for Hugo Lloris.
According to Daily Express, Tottenham are planning a summer bid for Chievo keeper Marco Silvestri.
The White Hart Lne outfit have been alerted of the player’s potential and club officials are now closely monitoring his progress.
Marco Silvestri has come through the youth ranks at Modena, but began his professional career at Chievo.
The 22-year-old has yet to make a first team debut at Bentegodi, but he has been getting much needed first team experience at Reggiana and Padova.
Silvestri is currently on loan at Padova, where he has made 13 Serie B appearances this season.
