Le 10 Sport is reporting that Marco Verratti’s long-term future at Parc des Princes is in doubt.
The Italian playmaker is on the radar of quite a few top clubs, with Barcelona reportedly leading the chase.
Verratti admitted few days ago that he had had doubts about staying at the club in the summer, but he eventually decided to remain.
However, latest reports suggest that PSG chiefs are still debating whether to offer the Italian a new long-term deal given his under par performances this season.
And considering that Verratti made it clear a while back that he would only sign a new deal if he was to remain for at least few more years, a contract extension does not seem likely at this moment.
The 24-year-old spent last five years with the Saints, scoring 5 goals in 140 Ligue 1 outings for the club.
