Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has refused to pledge his future to the Saints amidst heavy interest in his services.
It is believed that Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona are just some of his suitors, but the Italy international has so far resisted temptation to leave Parc des Princes for greener pastures.
Verratti currently seems happy to stay with Paris Saint-Germain, but he admits he would consider leaving the club if they can lift the Champions League title.
“To leave after having won the Champions League? It’s a challenge that I have on my mind,” the Italian confessed to Canal Football Club.
“I do not want to leave at the moment. But, anything can happen.”
Marco Verratti has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A, and Italy head coach Giampiero Ventura recently suggested that the midfielder needed to be playing in a stronger competition if he was to continue to develop.
The 24-year-old has so far made 175 competitive appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 5 goals and setting up another 29.
