Paris Saint-Germain starlet Marco Verratti has rejected speculations linking him with a summer exit from Parc des Princes.
The highly rated footballer is reportedly on the radar of Real Madrid and Juventus, and it was believed he would seriously consider any offer from abroad.
However, Verratti has made it clear that he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain, reiterating his desire to remain with the Saints for the foreseeable future.
“I’ll be in Paris next season. I feel very well in France,” the Italy international was quoted as saying in L’Equipe.
“I do not know if it depends on me, but my intention is really to stay at PSG.”
Verratti currently has a deal until June 2018, but L’Equipe has suggested he will be offered a new and improved contract in an attempt to ward off interest in his services.
The 21-year-old joined the Saints from Pescara in the summer of 2012, and he quickly managed to earn a regular starting berth.
He has so far made 48 Ligue 1 appearances for the club, and managed a total of 8 assists in the process.
