Spanish giants Valencia are interested in signing Manchester City midfielder Marcos Lopes, Superdeporte has suggested.
It is now clear that Nicolas Otamendi will be joining the Citizens in the coming days, with Eliaquim Mangala moving to Mestalla, either on loan or on permanent deal.
However, Valencia aim to recruit another Manchester City footballer as they are keen on youngster Marcos Lopes.
The 19-year-old has yet to make his first Premier League appearance, but he was in very good form while on loan with Lille last season, bagging 3 goals in 23 Ligue 1 games.
The Portuguese footballer is widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest prospects and Valencia are clearly eager to secure his services this summer.
Los Che will be vying Monaco in the Champions League play-offs, with the first leg played at Mestalla on Wednesday, and you should know they are 5/6 favourites to create an advantage ahead of the return match.
