Marcos Rojo set for United stay

Talksport understands that Marcos Rojo will not be sold by Manchester United in January, despite reports linking him with a move to Napoli.

The Argentina international endured a disruptive preseason due to his involvement in the Copa America, and was not included in any of the match-day squads for the first six games of United’s season.

However, following the injury picked up by Luke Shaw in last Wednesday’s 2-1 Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven, Rojo has got his chance and made his first appearance of the campaign at the weekend.

Carlos Goncalves, the 25 year old’s agent has insisted that his client is happy with life at Old Trafford and has insisted that he is going nowhere.

Since moving to the Premier League, Rojo has racked up twenty-seven appearances in all competitions, and got his only goal for the club so far in the 3-0 win over Cambridge United back in February.
