Marcus Rashford spent only 17 minutes on the pitch, having come on in the 63rd only to be taken off injured in the 80th, in Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Wednesday. Speaking after the game, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that Rashford had been struggling for a while and the plan to play him against Wolves ‘backfired’.
