Enzo Maresca has revealed that he plans to find a new club in the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old recently terminated his contract with Greek giants Olympiakos.
Udinese, Sampdoria, Napoli and Palermo are among the clubs reportedly interested in signing Maresca.
“I knew that rescinding my contract on August 30 was a risk,” Maresca declared to ReteRete24.
“My reasoning was based on motivation however. In order to give my best I cannot function without it. Now I must wait until January and weigh up a couple of opportunities.
“In the meantime, I have lost €2 million and many former team-mates have called me to say that I’m crazy.
“This is not the case however, and I know what I want. Now I will train hard to make sure I am ready for when the next opportunity presents itself.”
