Marin keen on permanent Sevilla switch

Marko Marin has said that he wants to remain at Sevilla after his loan spell from Chelsea is complete, according to the Mail Online.

The Germany international has eighteen appearances in all competitions for the La Liga side, with both of his two goals coming in the 4-1 Europa League play-off victory over Slask Wroclaw back in August.

Marin completed a £7m move to the Blues from Werder Bremen in the summer of 2012, but made just sixteen appearances for them before being shipped out on a temporary basis back in June.

With Chelsea currently overloaded with midfield options, Marin’s chances of breaking into Jose Mourinho’s side next season appear to be limited, and the 25 year old would welcome a permanent switch to Unai Emery’s side.

Sevilla host Real Betis in the first leg of their Europa League last sixteen clash this evening, and Marin is 3/1 to get on the score sheet.
