The Italian forward Mario Balotelli is nearing the end of his French fairytale.
The striker has endured a difficult time at Nice this season following a series of rows and breakdowns with Patrick Vieira and is set to end his stay prematurely, six months before the end of his contract.
Balotelli has been negotiating with Olympique Marseille but the talks did not go as planned and former Inter Milan and AC Milan star seems to be heading back home.
The Italian press report that Mario Balotelli has been offered to the likes of Sampdoria, Bologna, Parma and Sassuolo.
Rai Sport and Tuttosport are both suggesting that Mino Raiola is doing rounds with Serie A mid-table sides, offering Balotelli’s services to various clubs in hopes of finding a side that would take in the prodigal son.
The 28-year-old Italian striker moved to France in 2016. He made 51 Ligue 1 appearances with Nice, scoring 33 goals in the process.
