Italian forward Mario Balotelli is edging towards the end of his contract with Ligue 1 outfit Nice.
The 27-year-old striker will depart the French side on a free transfer this summer and his agent Mino Raiola is said to be actively working on securing a high-profile move for his protegee.
According to the reports emerging in Mediaset Premium, Raiola is currently in talks with AS Roma over a possible summer deal.
Balotelli is keen on a return home and it’s likely that he will once again try his luck in Serie A. The former Inter Milan and AC Milan forward is also being eyed by Juventus and Napoli, it is being reported.
Mario Balotelli enjoyed a successful season with Nice, having scored 24 goals in 36 games across all competitions.
It can be said Balotelli got his career back on track following a dreadful spell in Liverpool and is even touted to make Italy return if Roberto Mancini is appointed the national team coach.
