Mario Gotze set for Bayern exit

German media outlet Bild has suggested that Mario Gotze will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the current season.

The Germany hotshot has struggled for playing time under Pep Guardiola, and he will definitely be delighted to see the Catalan coach leave the club.

However, it appears that his status in the squad is not going to change when Carlo Ancelotti arrives as the Italian has informed Gotze that he would not be in his first team plans.

As a result, the former Borussia Dortmund star is widely expected to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

With the forward’s contract due to expire in just over a year, Bayern Munich will be happy to cash in on his services, and it only remains to be seen where he will end up.

Mario Gotze, 23, has only made 13 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring one goal in the process.
