With Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny recently admitting the club need a new top class striker to keep Olivier Giroud in his toes, while also offering another goal threat to keep them in the trophy hunt, Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic is a player who could make the move to the Premier League this summer.

The Croatian international, 28, enjoyed a good last campaign with the Bundesliga champions, scoring 21 goals and making six assists in 40 games in the league and Europe. With Robert Lewandowski joining this summer from Borussia Dortmund, Mandzukic’s place is under threat for next season, as 888 Sport are giving odds of 3/1 for him to make the move to Arsenal as a result.

He boasts a 23% conversion rate, which greatly trumps Arsenal’s first choice striker Olivier Giroud (14%). His value would likely be in excess of £10M, which Arsenal could afford this summer, but they’re yet to make any interest official.
