Mario Mandzukic back on Man United agenda

Manchester United continue to be linked with the Croatian forward Mario Mandzukic.

Red Devils are said to be once again considering a move for the Juventus striker who is growing increasingly frustrated with being used in a wide role in Turin.

The 32-year-old has reportedly already hinted he could look for a move away from Juventus once the World Cup is over and Manchester United are once again being mentioned as a potential destination.

Sportitalia report that the tenacious forward could be involved in a player exchange deal for Manchester United out-of-favour defender Matteo Darmian who, on his own part, has been linked with Juventus for quite a while.

Any potential deal between the two clubs will have to wait until after the tournament in Russia where Mandzukic’s Croatia are taking part in the quarterfinals.

The Vatreni are taking on host nation Russia in an effort to move one step closer towards replicating the historic third-place success from 1998.

Croatia are given 8/7 betting odds to beat Sbornaya.
