Mark Hughes to toughen up on players who do not have the correct work ethic

Under-fire Manchester City manager Mark Hughes has warned those players in his squad who are not performing to their potential.

Hughes was referring mainly to the attitude of a number of players in terms of their attitudes at training and their preparations for matches.

This could be the signal that things are not well with the players currently at the club.

The Manchester City manager hinted that those players who were not prepared to put in the effort at practices and training could expect to spend time out of the team.
