Marko Grujic set for potential loan move

Premier League giants Liverpool have an abundance of talent amongst their midfield and forward ranks, so it is little surprise that certain young players aren’t really getting a look-in at the moment. One of the youngsters is Marko Grujic, who could be set for a loan move in order to offer him some game time, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Serbian international made the switch to Anfield in January 2016, but he was loaned back to previous club Red Star Belgrade until the end of the season, and played a crucial role in their unbeaten Serbian SuperLiga-winning season. As a result he was named to the SuperLiga Team of the Season.

There is little doubt then that Grujic is a talented player, but he has not been given enough opportunities at Liverpool. Thankfully both Brighton and Aston Villa are both reportedly keen on taking the midfielder on loan, which could be perfect for the 21-year old’s development.
