Croatian forward Marko Livaja is widely tipped to quit Rubin Kazan in the winter, Russian media outlet Izvestia has learned.
The Russian giants splashed €6.5 million on the 21-year-old in the summer, but the youngster has struggled to adapt to life in Kazan.
He has played just over hour of league football since joining from Atalanta and his representatives are hoping to persuade the club chiefs to place him on the transfer list.
Rubin Kazan coach Rinal Bilyaletdinov recently criticised the player for being overweight and chances are he will agree to cash in on Livaja at the earliest opportunity.
Marko Livaja joined Inter Milan from Hajduk Split in 2010 and he impressed to score 4 goals during club’s 2012/2013 Europa League campaign.
He moved to Atalanta in January 2013, but having scored mere 4 goals in 31 league appearances, the Croatian forward was allowed to move on in the summer.
