Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly set their sights on highly-rated Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, who is enjoying quite a season with Los Rojiblancos.
The 276-year-old French international has started 11 La Liga games for Jorge Sampaoli’s high-flying side this season contributing with two goals of his own.
His glowing form has alerted plenty of high-profile European clubs who are reportedly keen to land him in January with Barcelona and Chelsea being some of them.
And according to the latest reports it is Juventus who joined the chase for the 27-year-old.
Juventus managing director Guiseppe Marotta remains coy on the reports linking the Bianconeri with the €30 million-rated midfielder, revealing however that Juventus did pay attention to the Sevilla star performer in their most recent Champions League matchup.
“Are we ready to activate N’Zonzi’s release clause? He is a great player, only one of the players we are monitoring ahead of the winter transfer window”, Marotta told the Italian media channel Mediaset Premium.
N’Zonzi joined Spanish side Sevilla from Stoke City in 2015-16, making 22 La Liga appearances for the club during his maiden season at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
