Belgium international midfielder Marouane Fellaini is nearing the exit door at Old Trafford.
The 30-year-old’s contract with Manchester United is expiring at the end of the season and Red Devils are unlikely to offer him a new deal.
The former Everton enforcer is in no shortage of offers however with the likes of Galatasaray and Besiktas said to be vying for his signature.
The Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport is reporting however that Fellaini himself is hoping to land a deal with the Serie A outfit AS Roma where Manchester United man would be reunited with Belgium teammate Radja Nainggolan.
Giallorossi director of sport Monchi is said to be a long-time admirer of Fellaini and could be expected to make a pounce for the Belgium midfielder whose set of skills would bring an important rugged edge to AS Roma style of play.
Fellaini made 12 Premier League appearances this season with United. He missed his team’s last five matches due to an injury sustained after only seven minutes on the pitch against Tottenham bac kin January.
