Catalan daily newspaper El Mundo Deportivo has suggested that Brazilian defender Marquinhos has decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
The 21-year-old is growing increasingly frustrated by unsuccessful attempts to nail down a regular starting berth at Parc des Princes and it appears that he has had enough.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Marquinhos has made his mind to leave the club at the earliest opportunity, as he no longer wants to play second fiddle to compatriots Thiago Silva and David Luiz.
This is likely to go down as very good news for his suitors Chelsea and Barcelona, who both attempted to recruit the 21-year-old in the past.
It would appear as though the Premier League holders are the favourites at the moment, with Jose Mourinho desperate to rejuvenate his ageing back line.
Since joining PSG in a €31.5 million deal from AS Roma, Marquinhos has made 52 Ligue 1 appearances and scored 4 goals.
