Dijon boss Patrice Carteron has revealed that Chelsea midfielder Gael Kakuta is tracked by Marseille and Olympiakos, among other clubs.
Andre Villas-Boas is prepared to let Kakuta leave Stamford Bridge on loan in January as he wants the player to get some first team experience.
The Frenchman was believed to be on the verge of joining Dijon, but Patrice Carteron reveals that other clubs appear to be leading the race.
“I have an agreement with Villas-Boas and I am fortunate to have convinced the player to join Dijon,” Dijon boss told Bien Public.
“But, six other clubs are interested in the player, including Marseille and Olympiakos, who have put more money on the table.”
Kakuta spent the first part of the season on loan at Bolton, but only made four substitute appearances.
