Olympique de Marseille have opened negotiations to sign Roma striker Marco Borriello, the French club revealed on their official website.
The French giants are looking to recruit another striker in January and they have now set their signs on Roma’s Marco Borriello.
Marseille have already opened negotiations with Roma, which was confirmed on their official website.
“Discussions with Roma chiefs for the Italian striker are progressing nicely,” the official statement read.
The 29-year-old forward is hoping to leave Roma after falling out with coach Luis Enrique and he was recently linked with Juventus and Genoa.
However, it appears that Marseille are now leading the race for the former Italian international.
