Marseille eyeing FC Porto duo

Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille are believed to be hot on the trail of FC Porto duo – Yacine Brahimi and Andre Silva.

According to the reports from the Portugal media outlet Abola, the two FC Porto first-team stars are being eyed by the French giants, who have had a scout watching Brahimi and Silva against Tondela and Juventus.

Having been impressed with the reports, Marseille are believed to be already preparing a bid for the duo when transfer window reopens in the summer.

Marseille will be forced to dig deep into the treasure chest in order to land the two highly-rated players as FC Porto are unlikely to let their two first-team regulars for less than €60 million.

New owner of the French club, the American investor Frank McCourt is looking to put Marseille level on terms with Europe’s biggest clubs are is reportedly prepared to invest €200 million in new players over the next couple of transfer windows and it is believed that a significant part of the transfer kitty could go on the FC Porto duo.
