Daily Record is reporting that Ligue 1 leaders Marseille are considering a move for Manchester City striker John Guidetti.
The French giants are expected to stay without top scorer Andre-Pierre Gignac and they apparently see the Swedish forward as a good long-term replacement.
According to Daily Record, Marseille have watched Guidetti in the 1-0 win over Inverness last month and they seem ready to step up their interest.
John Guidetti joined Celtic on a season-long loan in the summer and has largely impressed at the start of his career at Parkhead.
The 22-year-old has so far bagged nine goals in ten competitive outings, proving he is rightly considered one of Europe’s most talented forwards.
His suitors Marseille have seen their seven-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 standings melt to just one point after losing two of last three league fixtures, and OM are now priced at 13/2 to win outright.
