Le 10 Sport is reporting that Marseille are lining up a move for Dynamo Kiev midfielder Younes Belhanda.
The French giants look set to stay without attacking midfielder Mathieu Valbuena, and they see the Moroccan as a perfect long-term replacement.
And with the player reportedly interested in a return to French Ligue 1, OM officials are hoping they can lure the 24-year-old to Stade Velodrome.
Belhanda began his professional career at Montpellier, where he developed into a high-quality player and went on to play a key role in helping la Paillade win their first ever Ligue 1 title in 2012.
Following another very successful season in France’s top flight, the midfielder joined Dynamo Kiev in a mega money deal last summer and has since scored 5 goals in 15 league appearances.
However, with Ukrainian Premier League suspended due to political unrest, Belhanda could be back in French Ligue 1 in time for next season.
