Radio Monte Carlo has suggested that Marseille have had a big money offer rejected for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.
L’OM have seriously reinforced their ranks over the last year or so and the heavy recruitment continued this summer as they added the likes of Luiz Gustavo and Valere Germain to the squad.
Next item on agenda is recruiting a proven goalscorer and Carlos Bacca has now emerged as their top target.
Being well aware of the Colombian’s desire to leave the club, Marseille submitted a €20 million offer for his services, but their proposal was turned down.
The Rossoneri reportedly want €30 million, which is the same amount they paid Sevilla for the striker two years back.
Carlos Bacca has since managed 31 goals in 70 Serie A outings, but failed to establish himself as an undisputed starter.
