La Liga high flyers Valencia are on the verge of signing Marseille midfielder Gianelli Imbula, according to L’Equipe.
Los Che are close to reaching an agreement with the French giants, having submitted a €22 million proposal for the talented footballer.
L’Equipe also claims that Imbula has agreed a five-year deal with Valencia worth around €4.2 million gross per season.
Marseille received an €18 million offer from Inter Milan as well, but the midfielder was not interested in joining the Nerazzurri.
Imbula looks set to become the third first team regular to leave OM this summer, with Andre Ayew joining Swansea and Jeremy Morel leaving for Lyon.
The 22-year-old saw his career flourish under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa, with the youngster starting 37 league matches last term and scoring two goals.
Imbula currently represents France U21 side, but it is only a matter of time before he is called into the senior squad by coach Didier Deschamps.
