French media outlet Le 10 Sport is reporting that Ligue 1 giants Marseille are hot on the trail of AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko.
L’OM have just pulled off a major coup by bringing Dimitri Payet back to Stade Velodrome, and they have plans to recruit a world-class striker in the summer transfer window.
Le 10 Sport claims that AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko is not club’s top target at the moment, but he is one of the names being bandied about.
The Bosnian striker has been on fire this season, climbing to the top of Serie A goalscoring charts with 17 goals in 23 matches, and no wonder top European clubs have taken notice of his latest performances.
AS Roma chiefs are obviously eager to keep hold of the 30-year-old for as long as possible, and with more than three years left on his deal at Stadio Olimpico, it would take a big money offer to prize him away from the Giallorossi.
