French giants Marseille are readying a new assault on Sporting CP goalkeeper Rui Patricio, according to A Bola.
it is no secret that l’OM are in the market for a new shot-stopper and the Portugal number one has emerged as their top target.
Marseille are set to submit an official proposal for Patricio having recently enquired about Sporting’s asking price.
Even though the 29-year-old has a €45 million clause in his contract, the Lions would settle for €20 million, as they are aware their star player is slowly reaching the advanced stage of his career.
Rui Patricio has so far resisted temptation to leave Sporting CP for greener pastures, but everything suggests he will finally be leaving Estadio Jose Alvalade in the summer.
Capped 57 times by the Portugal national team, the highly rated shot-stopper made five appearances on the road to the Euro 2016 trophy.
