According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Marseille are interested in trying to sign Matteo Guendouzi from Arsenal.
The French club want to bring the youngster over on a season long loan deal as he continues to move in the direction of a transfer away from the Emirates. Some fans are surprised that he’s still even at the club given how the last few months have gone, whereas others are disappointed that he hasn’t quite been able to make things work.
He has yet to play a single minute of football for the Gunners so far this season and even if he doesn’t wind up going to Marseille, it doesn’t feel like that’s going to change. Mikel Arteta is making a lot of changes and he needs to sell a few players before the end of the window, and with Guendouzi not playing regularly, he’ll be located towards the top of that list.
