Europa League runners up Marseille have been showing interest in Nice striker Mario Balotelli, according to France Football.
The Italian forward managed to get his career back on track in France, scoring 43 goals across all competitions in two years with les Aiglons.
Balotelli was also called to the Italy national team by new boss Roberto Mancini and he is now set to leave Nice for greener pastures.
With his current contract due to expire in June, there are quite a few clubs ready to take the gamble with the former Man City star, with Marseille being one of those.
L’OM need a world-class centre forward to finish off moves started by the likes of Dimitri Payet, Florian Thauvin and Lucas Ocampos among others and they seem to believe Balotelli is the right man for the job.
