French giants Marseille are hot on the trail of FC Porto starlet Andre Silva, according to Portuguese media outlet Record.
The OM chiefs have been impressed with summer recruit Bafetimbi Gomis, who already has 10 league goals this season, but they lack back-up for the 31-year-old footballer.
Record has suggested that Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has set his sights on FC Porto hotshot Andre Silva, although they could face problems trying to bring the 21-year-old to Stade Velodrome.
Namely, the Dragons forward quickly became one of Europe’s most sought-after footballers, with the likes of Juventus, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid all casting admiring glances his way.
Andre Silva has so far scored 15 goals in all competitions this season, while his record of 4 goals in first 5 Portugal caps is even more impressive.
That means that Marseille will have to delve deep into their pockets if they are to stand any chance of landing their target.
