Marseille keen on Obi Mikel, Ivanovic

Antonio Conte is preparing a January clear-out and a couple of names have already been added to the list of players who could be leaving Chelsea when transfer window reopens.

According to reports from the French media outlet Le 10 Sport, Olympique de Marseille are ready to take advantage of the situation and make their move for John Obi Mikel and Branislav Ivanovic.

Rudi Garcia is looking for quality reinforcements for his squad and Chelsea out-of-favour duo appear to be topping his winter wish list.

Serbia captain Branislav Ivanovic has endured mixed fortunes this season in the Premier League as he made 7 league appearances for the Blues so far.

Despite playing full 90 minutes on six occasions this season, Ivanovic has lost his place in the team missing four of his team’s last five Premier League matches and managing only three minutes as a late substitute against Southampton.

On the other hand, Nigeria international John Obi Mikel is yet to register a Premier League appearance this season under Antonio Conte.
